Upcoming Basketball Games

Last regular season game…….

· Friday, February 17, JH boys, JV boys, and Varsity boys at home with Delaware Christian at 5:00/6:00/7:30. Also, between the JV and Varsity games, the senior athletes will be recognized.

Post-Season Basketball Begins – GO FLAMES!

Enclosed you will find the brackets for both girls and boys basketball teams.

· Varsity girls will be playing on Friday, February 24^th @ 7:45 pm at Westerville Central HS.

· Varsity boys will be playing on Tuesday, February 28^th @ 6:00 pm at Granville High School.

Re-Enrollment Cards

Enclosed you will find the re-enrollment cards for next school year – 2012-2013. Please take the time to fill out and return by March 1^st. Thanks so much.

Sweaters/Jackets at School

We understand that at times it is cool in the classrooms, and an additional jacket or sweatshirt is needed. We ask that you please abide by the following policies. A navy blue or white sweater/jacket/hoodie may be worn. The sweatshirt or jacket must have a zipper – no pullovers allowed. No writing or logos are allowed on the jackets. High schoolers may be issued detentions for violations of these policies. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Spanish III Spaghetti Dinner

The Spanish III Class will be hosting a spaghetti dinner on Friday, March 9^th to raise funds for their upcoming Spanish trip to Spain. Dinner will be served from 5:00-7:30 pm. Thanks in advance for your support.

Free Date Night & Movie Event

Darby Grace will be showing the movie Courageous on Saturday, February 18^th at Shekinah. The event begins @ 6:30 pm with the movie starting at 7:00 pm and popcorn, drinks, and door prizes will be included.

Elementary Typing

We suggest that you invest in a computer program such as Mavis Beacon for your students to learn typing skills. We find that some students form bad habits that are hard to break when they get up to high school. We are beginning this year to offer our Keyboarding class a bit earlier. The jr. high is currently taking this class, and we hope to continue with the class being offered at that level. However, we are suggesting that prior to that, students learn basic typing skills with a program such as Mavis Beacon.

Smile Safe Kids ID

Enclosed you will find your student(s) id cards from Lifetouch. These were printed when your students’ pictures were taken, but were not included in the packets you received.

Stromboli

On Saturday, March 3^rd, the Junior class will be making and delivering Stromboli. The pepperoni and cheese are $10, and the supreme (pepperoni, cheese, onion, and green pepper) are $11.
