Welcome to Shekinah's 30th annual Festival! The Festival is Shekinah Christian School's main fundraising event that helps to keep tuition at an affordable cost. Constituents have enjoyed years of interacting with the community and working together towards a common goal. We appreciate the many people who are assigned to festival committees who are non-constituents (approximately 30%), plus the many others who volunteer many hours of their time. The school would like to thank all extended family, friends and the community for your involvement and support in helping us make the Shekinah Festival successful. We look forward to seeing you there!

Jim Converse of Plain City, Ohio has carved many birds in his lifetime.  This year he carved a "Prairie Falcon" for the Shekinah Festival.  The falcon is 14" tall, perched on a rock base, making a total of 18" in height.  Jim's love for nature shows in the "real-life" appearance of his carvings.  The feathers actually appear as if they would be soft to the touch.  This man, a truly great artist, does not sell his carvings, but gives them to special groups.  Pictured below is the "Prairie Falcon".

Richard G. Orlando, M.D. has donated an oil painting to the Shekinah Festival this year.  Dr. Orlando paints as a hobby and for relaxation.  If you were to visit the Columbus Ophthalmology Association on Bradenton Ave. in Dublin, Ohio you would see many of his paintings there.  He does not sell his paintings, but does give them to special groups.  Many people from this area are patients of Dr. Orlando and his associates.  The painting is 15" x 13" (framed measurement is 19 1/2" x 16 1/2").  The vibrant colors of this artist are truly beautiful.  Pictured below is the painting that has been donated to the auction.
